The philosophy behind the creation of this site is simple. The “other” social site doesn’t allow pseudonyms, pen names, stage names etc. yet states that they “respect our privacy”. How is pulling our real life information into public view respecting our privacy? It doesn’t take a lawyer to realize it does the exact opposite. For whatever reason those that come to AvatarSpace have chosen to be incarnated in our avatars and wish to be known in the cyber community as such. The computing definition of Avatar is “an icon or figure representing a particular person in computer games, Internet forums, etc.” (Google definition)

Before long, you will be dragging all your like minded friends over. At AvatarSpace you are free to be in your own pixels without being hunted down and having your account suspended. We do ask that you are over 18, respectful and kind to others, and refrain from extreme vulgarities / gore unless the forum calls for otherwise. All forums are moderated by your peers.
